Camera Genesis is not only a photography club in the traditional sense, but a social outlet for those in the Charlotte NC area who are interested in getting together to meet, have fun, and share their enjoyment of photography.
Not only will you learn to use your camera and take better pictures, but you’ll be part of a fast growing community of photographers of all experience levels who use both online resources and come together to learn, share and grow in our understanding of digital photography.
We provide regular classes for the beginning photographer who wants to learn to use their camera better and to take better looking pictures. We also offer more in-depth classes, lectures and workshops for many other aspects of photography including portraiture, photojournalism, fashion, street photography, advertising, documentary and fine art.
Camera Genesis is for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, shooting nature and wildlife. Members participate in photowalks to practice shooting the local sites and scenery as a group.
We enhance and expand our knowledge and appreciation of the art of photography by participating in museum and gallery outings, exhibitions and festivals.
Whether a novice to photography or an advance hobbyist, Camera Genesis has something to offer you, and are always willing to share our photography knowledge with newcomers.
